A message from our President

Welcome to the Minnesota Chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement’s (MNISPI) 2011-2012 program year! We look forward to seeing you at one of our monthly programs this year—our theme is Successful Interventions, which will allow us to focus on case studies, as well as approaches and tools we can use to make our interventions more successful.  We have taken member feedback into account from last year’s membership survey, and have created a program schedule that we are confident will meet your needs as HPT professionals, while providing ample opportunity for professional growth, stimulating discussion, and building relationships through networking. We encourage you to attend one of our special interest groups (SIGs), the Consulting SIG, the Book Banter SIG, and the Digital Learning Forum (DLF).

It is important to note that the full range of work we do as a chapter couldn’t be done without the help of volunteers. We always welcome volunteers to serve on committees to plan and coordinate workshops and National Speaker Events, which reach a wide range of professionals in the Human Performance Technology arena, and represent our chapter by attending local networking events. If you are looking for a way to get involved with a professional organization that offers multiple opportunities for growth, networking, and outreach, please let us know – we’d love to have you!

I invite you to visit our website, www.mnispi.org for the latest information regarding chapter events, as well as general information on our chapter and board members. We welcome your feedback and suggestions, so feel free to contact any board member with your comments. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting!

Sincerely,

John Humphrey, Chapter President
