JOB TITLE: Leadership Training Manager
JOB TYPE: Permanent or direct employee, full-time
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The Leadership Training Manager is responsible for delivering high quality learning programs and solutions to leaders throughout the organization. The role requires an energetic, dynamic individual who can communicate to all levels of management and serve as a role model and an ability to coach others.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Facilitate large and small group discussion, team meetings and off-site and leadership/management: training programs
- Ensure the effective, timely and high quality learning materials are developed to support the Corporate, Retail and Supply Chain Services strategic goals
- Conduct Train the Trainer sessions on the leadership programs for field associates
- Align learning strategy and processes to ensure consistency within the organization
- Consult with business partners on the appropriate learning solution that best meets the identified need
- Complete administrative tasks including logistically planning for courses, creation of evaluation summaries and reports, tracking budget and invoicing data
- Proactively building a strong network of content experts/resources in areas related to job responsibilities in an effort to stay on the leading edge of the field, introduce new thinking into talent management, and have resources to draw on, as needed, to execute initiatives
- Supporting the design, development and implementation of leadership and organization initiatives set forth by Talent Management leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required (psychology, adult learning, business or related field);
- 5 – 8 years learning and development experience
- Strong experience delivering and facilitating leadership training to diverse audiences
- Strong decision making and execution skills
- Strong internal consulting skills – ability to build strong collaborative relationships with customers, identify and anticipate customer needs, influence, marshal necessary resources, design practical solutions and deliver on commitments. Customers should seek out this individual’s expertise and ask to work with him/her.
- Proven project management expertise
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree
- Ability to coach others
- Instructional design expertise
- Certifications in Achieve Global, Situational Leadership, MBTI, and Franklin-Covey
