Meet the MnISPI Board

Tony Munson 

President 

 
Tony Munson has dedicated himself primarily to education in the healthcare sector. He has trained extensively on implantable defibrillator and cardiac resynchronization for allied healthcare professionals and cardiologists and performed needs analysis and curriculum development. He worked for several years in new-hire training for representatives and clinical specialists with Medtronic’s CRHF division and has frequently project managed and led teams. Also, Tony has worked to help pacemaker and implantable defibrillator patients at multiple physician clinics in North Carolina and California. At the moment he is completing a curriculum in instructional design, elearning, and project management at University of Wisconsin Stout at Menomonie and designing and developing education materials under contract. He is serving Mn ISPI enthusiastically as Co-Chair of Programs with Joan Pearson.

Rod Harris

Past President

Rod Harris currently works in Global Leadership Development traveling nationally and internationally training and coaching corporate managers and executives. He has over 20 years management and leadership experience in corporate, small business, non-profit, government, and the military. Prior to this he served four years in the Marines in electronic redesign engineering and then ten years in the Army as a helicopter pilot. While the majority of his recent career experience is in training and couching, his current passion is Performance Improvement. He is pending designations as a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) from the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) and Certified ROI Professional (CRP) from the ROI Institute. He has an MS Ed in Training & Performance Improvement and a BS in Business Management and Leadership.

Mara Lawler

Mara brings over 15 years experience in training and eight years experience with HPT. She holds a Master's degree from Capella University in Training and Performance Improvement. She has served in other non-profit boards including Achieve Services serving adults with developmental disabilities.

Kristin Soo 

Career/Networking Co-Chair

 

Kristin Soo is an Instructional Design consultant who has worked at a variety of organizations around the Twin Cities, most recently at C.H. Robinson and Optum. She has her Master’s Degree in Teaching and has extensive experience working both as an educator and in business. She is currently serving on the Board of MnISPI as the Career/Networking Co-Chair, and has served in the past as the External Communications Chair.

Greg Moore 

Webmaster

 

Greg Moore, Principal Learning Experience Developer at IDeaS, has over 15 years in developing training and performance solutions for enterprise clients including the areas of pharmaceuticals, automotive, and professional services. Currently Greg is working on using analytics with xAPI to improve the performance of the end users of IDeaS software in the hospitality industry.
